It
starts with artistic
inspiration,
the idea from which the sculpture is born.
Then
the collection of knowledge and technique nurtured in the artist
during his training and developed and mastered over an age is called
upon to create surgically, the perfect form that has been envisaged,
until the magic in the surgeon’s hand transforms the female's body
into a work of art.
And
so there's a
fusion of surgery and art as the seemingly opposed science of
dividing tissue and the world of art merge seamlessly.
The
irony is that while art is meant to be addressed, admired and
appreciated, the artistic surgeon is so highly skilled that the
artwork, which he has created, is in fact presumed to be the work of
nature and not recognised at all.
