Mini Tummy Tuck

What is a mini tummy tuck?

A mini tummy tuck is an alternative to the invasive abdominoplasty (a major tummy tuck) that is often not an option due to the significant downtime required after the procedure and the large scar it leaves behind.

A mini tummy tuck is a smaller, less invasive procedure and has far less downtime and scarring. An incision is made on the pubic hairline, about 5cm in length longer than a caesarean scar, the skin is then tightened and removed from the flap area. The scar is normally completely concealed in the bikini line and the belly button is left untouched so a natural look can be maintained.

Patients can leave the same day as the procedure and because the abdominal muscles are left untouched in the procedure the downtime is far less because lifting and exercise is not restricted.
